Here is the picture I've been dreaming about for a week now: Hillary, in her own bed, this afternoon.
After a luxurious nine-day, eight-night stay in the hospital, my little girl was dismissed today. Please keep up the prayers, however. Her white blood cell count still isn't where it's supposed to be, and she still has fluid in her abdomen, but the surgeon believes she is getting better. He sent her home with oral antibiotics for a week, but he wanted us to be clear that she could start all over again in a couple of weeks. He made a judgment call, and in his judgment, she will just get better. We'll have to wait and see, but it is good to do the waiting and seeing at home.
It is so good to be home.

Tell Hillary that I am glad she is feeling better and that I am glad she is home. It is always nicer to be at home even if you are still not at 100%.
I think Hillary should spend her recovery time removing the appendices from all the books in your house.
Just to be safe.
Hope her mend time is short... and painless!
